Meet "Reef Rat" Jim Dulin

The man, the myth, the legend. Jim Dulin is a commercial fisherman and Jupiter native who brings Love Street’s vibrant fishing history to life. For 25 years, Jim has been fishing at the same 13-slip dock, dating back to when Love Street was home to a marina, boat ramp, and a bait shop that included the Barden Boating Center. His boat, the Reef Rat, still resides at our docks, where he gives us first dibs on his catch. Jim catches about 60,000 pounds of fish a year – from kingfish to mahi-mahi. You can catch Jim at the docks daily, and he may even teach you a fishing trick or two!
