Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street is a passion project for Charlie Modica. His ongoing fascination with Jupiter Inlet Village led him to purchase the land for the project in December 2011. Along with his partner, Joe Namath, Modica wanted to create a destination for locals to enjoy the water and the views.

Modica and Namath not only share a passion for boating and fishing, but also an understanding of the roles they play in Jupiter’s history. This respect for the area inspired Modica to promise commercial fishermen continued use of the piers at Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street and to support their industry. 

A New York native, Modica has lived in the area for decades and supports local charities, including the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum, Loxahatchee River Historical Society, and Loggerhead Marinelife Center. He has also chaired and served on the Board of Trustees for educational institutions, including Barry University, St. George’s University, and Rosarian Academy. 

Modica’s generosity and commitment to the area will be evident to visitors at Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street.
